I wanted to share my knowledge with others so in 2001 I studied the ACE program and became a certified personal trainer through the Philadelphia School of Massage.  Following that I was physically trained by competitive body builder and Mrs. Philippines 1999, Marian Almario-Hajioannou. 

An auto accident in 2004, left me with life long back and neck trauma.  Because of that I had to learn how to live and retrain my body with these types of injuries.  It took me until recently to get strong and healthy enough to start training clients again and it feels great!!  Part of my dedication is to help others understand and work through their own obstacles no matter what they are. 
Wanting to further my passion of fitness and nutrition, I enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized ?roadmap to health? that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.

Bio/Intro: My fitness journey began when I was a child, my grandfather (a self-taught fitness guru) would take brisk walks with me on the beach, teaching me how to breathe correctly and make the most of my workout. He was also well-versed in nutrition and the mind/body connection. Through his influence I continued on the fitness path successfully participating in ladies field hockey, softball, and USTA tennis programs for many years. As a slow, chubby hockey player in high school I dreamt of being a hard-hitting offensive player. So at just 14 years old I began to work out in my parents? basement using my Dad?s old gym equipment. I quickly realized, as most beginners do, that I had no clue where to begin! My Dad was a great resource for me and I started reading weight-lifting books by the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Franco Columbo. As I got older I got bigger and better but I knew there was more I could do. My dream was to help people succeed in life and in sports. I knew I could help individuals and teams reach their goals so I enrolled in the National Personal Training Institute. After 500 hours of on-hands training and a knowledge base of information, I graduated at the top of my class.I have experience training individuals looking to achieve weight loss as well as athletes striving to become better players.
